Why wait for the post office to deliver your monthly statements?  With eStatements, they can be delivered to you online – safer, faster and more conveniently for you.  Best of all, it’s free.

Each month, when an account statement is ready, we’ll notify you via eMail.  The next time you login to eStatements, your monthly account statement will be waiting.  It’s that easy!

With eStatements, you can:

  • Decrease your risk of identity theft by keeping your monthly statements out of your postal mailbox.
  • Get your monthly statement faster than the post office can deliver them.
  • Review up to 12 months of account statements online.
  • View your monthly statement online, print them, or save them to your computer.

What are eStatements?
eStatements are an electronic delivery of your monthly checking statements. They are retrieved online and are available the morning after your regular statement cycle.

Will I receive images of my cleared checks with my eStatement?
If your account is eligible for an imaged statement, the images are included in the eStatement.

Why did the bank decide to use eStatements?
Better customer service. We can deliver your statement immediately after it is generated and it is accessible from any location that has Internet service and meets the system requirements.

Is there a charge for eStatements?
No, eStatements are free!

How do I sign up for eStatements?
You can sign up for eStatements here. Or, if you are already enrolled you can go to the enrollment link and add additional checking accounts.  Once you submit your self enrollment you will receive an email confirmation which will contain a link to complete the enrollment process. 

What should I use for my password?
Your password must be between four (4) and eight (8) characters long, with at least one (1) number, and can be any combination of letters and numbers that are easy for you to remember. If you are an Internet Banking or EZ Pay bill pay customer you can use the same user ID and Password you use for these applications, but you do not have to.

How do I change my password?
Once you have logged into the eStatements web site you can change your password by clicking on the "Change Password" link.

Why does my eStatement password need to be 4 to 8 alphanumeric characters
The longer password is more secure for protecting your information than a four digit number.

How do I change my email address?
For security reasons, you must submit a change request in writing to a Customer Service Representative at any of our locations

What if I forget my password?
You may click on the “Forgotten Password” link from the login page and an email will be sent to the email address you have associated with your eStatement account.

Are there any system requirements?
Yes, customers must have the following:

  • A computer with the ability to receive email with attachments
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher (can be downloaded for free at http://get.adobe.com/reader)
  • Internet Explorer v6 or Netscape Navigator v6.5 or higher
  • Internet Access
  • A printer capable of printing graphics (images)

How do I retrieve my eStatement?
Once your eStatement is available, you will be sent an email notifying you that your statement is ready to be viewed. To pick up your eStatement logon to the eStatement link under Electronic Services, then enter your confidential Identification Number and Password to login and retrieve the statement.

What is the print program I should use for eStatements?
Adobe Reader. It is free at http://get.adobe.com/reader.

How do I print my eStatement?
After you've logged into the eStatement web site, select the statement you'd like to view or print by clicking the word "View" to the left of the date of the statement you would like to view. Click the Printer icon. The eStatement will look exactly like the paper copy you are used to.

How long will my statements be available online?
After you sign up, your eStatements will be available for twelve months. If you need a statement generated and mailed to you for a previous period, contact customer service at 706-295-9300. 

Can I save my eStatements on my PC?
Yes. After you've logged into the eStatement web site, select the statement you'd like to print by clicking the word "View" to the left of the date of the statement you would like to view. Create a folder on your hard drive where you would like to store your statements.  Next, click File, Save As, give your file a name and save your statement to the designated folder you setup on your PC.

Is the eStatement site secure?
Yes. The site is secured using SSL (secure socket layer) technology with 128 bit encryption.

What if I don’t like eStatements — can I switch back?
Yes.  However, we are certain that you won't want to go back, once you get used to receiving your statements by eStatement delivery. It is fast, simple, and safe. But if you decide you do not wish to receive an eStatement you may cancel your eStatement service at any time by providing us with written notice.

Are the check images from eStatement accepted by the I.R.S.?
Yes. Federal law requires merchants, vendors and the I.R.S. to accept check images as proof of payment.

What if I didn't receive my eStatement?
Undeliverable emails will result in customers being removed from the service. Greater Rome Bank will mail your statement via U.S. postal service, along with a letter informing you that you have been removed from eStatement delivery. You will need to re-enroll to receive eStatements again.

Do I have to have Internet Banking to use eStatements?
No. eStatements can be used separate from Internet Banking.
